To Protect and Serve

It has been an honor to serve on the County Council. I love our community, and want to continue finding ways to add to our quality of life. On Friday, March 14th, I filed for re-election to the County Council for District 5.

For those who have yet to meet me, I want to share a bit about myself and the way I approach life. As a police officer for over three decades, I rose through the ranks to Deputy Chief. In that time, I learned to live each day by the motto “To Serve and Protect”. As your County Councilman, I take that same motto to every meeting of the Salt Lake County Council, working to serve District 5, and aiming to protect precious taxpayer resources. The responsibility is a sacred trust, so I never relent in my efforts to arrest big government and wasteful spending, while serving the best interests of the residents in District 5.

Any police officer knows that when the situation dictates, he can always call for backup. The same holds true for issues important to you: I want you to know that, as your representative on the County Council, you can call me for backup on the big issues, and I will gladly help with the little ones, too. If it matters to you, your family, and our community, please never hesitate to contact me. I can be reached via email SteveDeBry@gmail.com, and by phone at (801) 707-8460. I hope to continue to earn your trust, your confidence, and your vote.
